The East San Gabriel Valley Coalition For the Homeless have begun opening winter shelters across the area with shelters soon to be available in Glendora.
The first winter shelter in Glendora will be available at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church, 241 South Valley Center Avenue, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 17, through Thursday, Jan. 1. A winter shelter will then be available at Glenkirk Presbyterian Church, 1700 East Palopinto from Friday, January 2, 2015, to Thursday, Jan. 15.
Winter shelters will be open during the above dates every night from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
