Gas Station Employee Attacked, Robbed On Grand Ave.

Police are investigating a robbery in which the station attendant was pepper sprayed and robbed of cash Tuesday night.

The robbery was reported at the 76 gas station, 954 S. Grand Ave., at 7:42 p.m. Aug. 18. The suspect armed with pepper spray and a knife entered the station, sprayed the clerk and fled on foot with cash, said. Sgt. Chris Stabio of Glendora Police.

It was not immediately known if the clerk was treated for being sprayed, Stabio said.

The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He wore dark clothing and a baseball hat with the phrase “I ♥ Hooters” written on it.
