The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner has identified the man killed after his motorcycle struck two vehicles on Arrow Highway near Sunflower Avenue August 22.

Nathan Puga, 23, a La Verne resident, died after striking the rear bumper of a black Volkswagen CC that pulled out in front of him on eastbound Arrow Highway. Puga swerved into the No. 2 lane, struck and slid under a second vehicle that was about to drive away from the north curb.

Arrow Highway was shut down by the California Highway Patrol for several hours during the investigation.

An autopsy has yet to be scheduled, said Investigator Betsy Magdaleno with the Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
