Glendora Police arrested two men Monday morning after a call of suspicious activity yielded alleged identify theft.

A resident near the 2100 East block of Baseline Rd called officers at 8:27 a.m. to report a suspicious vehicle occupied by two men. Police detained the men who were sitting in a car and discovered in their possession checking account and bank account records for several people, said Lt. Matt Egan of Glendora Police.

Arrested in the 900 South block of Chippendale Ave were James Pinto, 28, and Cameron Coyer, 26, both booked on suspicion of identity theft and theft from a dependent elder. Both men are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and have since been transferred to the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles.

Both men are scheduled for an appearance in the West Covina Courthouse September 23, according to county booking records.
