The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood warning for portions of eastern Los Angeles County and recent burn areas, including the Colby Fire burn area.

The warning will remain in effect until 7 a.m. Monday morning as developing heavy rainfall and thunderstorm activity could generate flash flooding. Rainfall rates could exceed one inch per hour starting tonight and early Monday.

Weather officials warn resident in or below recent burn areas to take precautions to protect their property and to follow the orders of emergency officials.
