A 65-year-old man is still listed in critical condition hours after being rear-ended by a possible drunk driver Sunday night, police said.

The rider, a Glendora resident, was flown to County/USC Medical Center for treatment. The alleged DUI driver, 72-year-old Clarence Calhoun of Monrovia, was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI resulting in injury and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater causing bodily injury.

The collision occurred around 5:18 p.m.

Both the rider and Calhoun were westbound on Foothill Boulevard approaching Galanto Avenue. The rider slowed down to turn right onto Galanto when Calhoun, in his Nissan Pathfinder, rear-ended the Harley Davidson he was on, said Lt. Matt Williams of Glendora Police.
