Glendora officials have upgraded the Colby Fire Impact Area alert status to green Thursday afternoon.

Isolated showers are possible, but storms matching the powerful ones that hit us previously are not expected, city officials said. Light rain is possible during the weekend.

The nearby San Gabriel Dam captured 270 million gallons of rain from the recent storms. The Big Tujunga Dam in the upper Los Angeles River watershed captured 60 million gallons, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.

The Eaton Wash Dam in Pasadena captured 22 millions of rain, while the Rio Hondo Spreading Grounds captured 2.9 billion gallons of runoff, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works said.

According to GCN’s rain gauge, just south of the Colby Fire Impact Area, Glendora received 4-1/8 inches of rain as of 3pm Thursday from this week’s storms.
