Teen Accused of Murdering Sister Set For Jan. 26 Court Appearance

The boy accused of stabbing his teen sister to death in Claremont is scheduled to appear in court next week.

Nathaniel Geurts, 14, is scheduled to be arraigned January 26 at the Pomona Courthouse on one count of murder in the stabbing death of his 15-year-old sister, Aspen Geurts.

Nathaniel and Aspen, both residents of Claremont, were both students of Glendora High School.  For unknown reasons, Nathaniel stabbed his sister to death and fled the residence, only to be found a short distance away by police.

Nathaniel is being tried as an adult.
