Police are investigating another burglary at Royal Oak Middle School in which band equipment and video equipment were stolen overnight.

The burglary occurred sometime between 11 p.m. January 28 to 6:30 a.m. January 29 at Royal Oak, 303 S. Glendora Ave., in Covina.  Windows to two classrooms in the north portion of the school were broken to gain access, said Sgt. Tom Tardif of Covina Police.

One piece of the stolen band equipment was recovered at Quest Academy, 821 N. Kidder Ave., about a mile northeast of Royal Oak, and was returned by employees, Tardif said.

Police do not have any description of a suspect or suspects, nor a description of a getaway vehicle.

Royal Oak was burglarized in a similar fashion October 21 of 2015 when several rooms were broken into, with video property being stolen and extensive damage caused during the break-in.
