If you have noticed an increase in traffic up and down foothill roads, there’s a good reason for it.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works is clearing mud and debris from the debris basins above Glendora, with work slated to last for several weeks, city officials said.

The Glendora Police Department advises residents to be alert and aware for increased heavy truck activity in the city. Trucks will arrive to and from the city via the Interstate 210 freeway and have chosen the shortest route in an attempt to limit impact on residents.
