BREAKING NEWS: Police Chase Ends With Search in Glendora

UPDATE, 2:54 a.m.: Baldwin Park Police have ended their search for the pursuit suspect without taking the driver into custody.

PREVIOUS: A Baldwin Park police chase ended in the foothills of Glendora Friday morning after the truck the suspect was driving in stopped in a dead end street.

The pursuit ended in the 300 block of North Lone Hill Avenue around 1 a.m. The white truck was found empty and the suspect likely retreating into the hillside neighborhood.

The pursuit began in Baldwin Park about 10 minutes before 1 a.m. after an officer located the driver in the wanted truck. The driver refused to stop and the pursuit sped along surface streets, at times going 120 miles per hour, according to police broadcast traffic.

The pursuit sped eastbound on Badillo Street through West Covina, Covina, San Dimas, then north on Lone Hill into Glendora where the pursuit terminated.

Glendora Police officers and a helicopter are aiding with the search.
