One of the three men convicted of igniting the Colby Fire was found by Glendora police Friday night and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Steven Robert Aguirre, 23, was seen by Glendora police in the area of Grand Avenue and Route 66 after 8 p.m. Police learned he had a warrant out for his arrest, stemming from a failure to appear after a written promise related to a marijuana charge, said Sgt. Marty Barrett of Glendora Police.

Aguirre is being held in lieu of $612 bail, according to Glendora Police booking records. County booking information on a scheduled court appearance was not available Sunday.

Aguirre was last arrested by Glendora Police June 28, 2015, found behind the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2121 E. Route 66. Aguirre was arrested after he left his registered halfway house and stopped checking in with his federal probation officer, police said.
