Identity Theft Workshop Scheduled for Late April

City officials announced Thursday a free workshop for residents to notice signs of identity theft and how to prevent being a victim.

The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m. in the Glendora Public Library Friends Room, 140 S. Glendora Ave.

Organizers will show residents how to safeguard their personal information, what signs to look for indicating identity theft and what steps to take if they have become a victim.

The event will be presented by the Glendora Public Library and the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs.
