Friday morning turned out to be busy for the Glendora Police Department, as they arrested seven burglars in two separate incidents, according to Glendora Lieutenant Rob Lamborghini.

The first occurred with an alarm being activated and an eye witness seeing a home being burglarized in the 500 block of East Sierra Madre Ave.

At 10:50am an alarm was set off and a call to Glendora Police led to the quick location of a vehicle matching the description given by the eye witness. Officers made contact with the vehicle and pulled it over. It was determined that the four individuals inside had been involved in the burglary on Sierra Madre. Three males and one female was arrested.

The second incident occurred about an hour later at 11:40am in the 1400 block of East Leadora Ave.

A resident was home alone when a black male knocked on her door several times. After a few minutes the suspect returned and entered the backyard at which point the resident called Glendora Police. Officers once again arrived quickly, locating a vehicle that matched the description.

There were three suspects inside that vehicle and it was determined they were involved in the attempted burglary on Leadora. All three males were arrested.

All seven suspects appear to be from the Los Angeles area and Glendora officers are investigating possible gang affiliations. The two incidents also appear to not be related.
