11th Annual Saluting Our Veterans Open to the Public

What: Citrus College will host 11th annual Saluting Our Veterans program.

Co-hosts include the cities of Glendora and Azusa as well as Azusa Pacific University. Event will feature an honor guard, military and art displays and remarks by two keynote speakers who are veterans and Citrus College alumni.

Prior to the formal ceremony beginning at 11:30 a.m., the Gladstone High School Marching Band will perform a 30-minute patriotic musical prelude.

When: Thursday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Where: Citrus College’s Campus Center Mall, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd., Glendora, CA

Who:   Open to the public, free of charge

Why:   The college’s Saluting Our Veterans program honors U.S. veterans from every generation and all branches of the military.  Through this event, Citrus College faculty, staff and students acknowledge and thank veterans for their service and sacrifices.
