Holyland Bethlehem Ribbon Cutting_Glendora Chamber (1)Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosted a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Holy Land Bethlehem. Natural and fresh wholesome products from Israel, known as the “Holy Land,” can be found at this unique store.

In attendance was the Owner Uafah Majed along with family, friends, and community members. From the City of Glendora was Mayor Gene Murabito and Councilmember Karen Davis. The Glendora Chamber was represented by Board Chair Fawn Imboden and Board Members Mary Ann Quay and Ken Salzman. Chamber staff present were Membership and Events Coordinator Michele Street and Chamber President/CEO Joe Cina.

Ribbon Cutting Celebrating the 25-year anniversary for Hope Lutheran

Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Celebrating the 25-year anniversary for Hope Lutheran. Hope Lutheran offers private education for pre-school through 8th grade students, as well as a church for the Glendora community.

In attendance was Hope Lutheran Principal Scott Ferguson, Admissions & Communications Director Brandy Mayer and Preschool Director Ellen Head along with students and community members. Legislative Representatives present were Bob Pence from the office of Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, Arda Tchakian Representing State Senator Anthony Portantino, and Rosa Citraro Representing Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger. From the City of Glendora was Mayor Gene Murabito, Mayor Pro-Tem Gary Boyer as well as Councilmember Karen Davis. The Glendora Chamber was represented by Board Members DJ Jafari, Shannon Lancaster, Jim Hermanson, and Ken Salzman. Chamber Ambassadors present were Sue Laub, Keith Van Vliet and Karen Colasanti. The Chamber staff in attendance were Administrative Assistant Amy Elzik and Chamber President/CEO Joe Cina.

At Hope Lutheran, their curriculum is not only Christ-centered but also intellectually challenging and diverse.
