City officials lowered Glendora’s alert status earlier Thursday morning, downgrading from Orange to Yellow.
- No evacuation orders in effect.
- Rain-related parking restrictions in effect.
- Residents directed to remove vehicles, trash bins and other obstructions from streets and/or travel lanes as they will be subject to tow or removal by authorities.
- No restricted entry to impact area/potentially impacted areas.
The National Weather Service predicts partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day and night. Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers by Friday night.
City staff recommends that residents to check their property for signs of damage from the rains and subsequent flooding.
Trash pickup for residents in the Colby Fire Impact Area will be scheduled for the early morning hours of Friday, Dec. 5, city staff said.
