Nothing could stop visitors of the 6th annual Glendora Wine Walk from showing up to have a great time, not even a little rain.
This year’s Wine Walk sold out, despite raising the number of tickets available to 1,250, up 250 from last year’s total. The word seems to be getting out that this intimate event held each year in The Village is becoming one the city’s most popular gatherings.
Over 20 Merchants participated as wine stops, where ticket holders were greeted with an often friendly pour of various wines. Other merchants who did not provide wine spots were still open for attendees to visit.
Some of the wines on hand included:
1. Sables D’Azure Glassier, Rosé
2. Harlow Heights, Pinot Noir
3. Laurier, Champagne
4. Robert Hall, Orange Muscat
5. Cascada, Malbec
We hope that next year will once again prove that word of mouth is letting those who missed out get off the fence and join us in this wonderful outing. We would also like to thank the chairs of the Wine Walk Committee, Jana Jones of Ken Turner Real Estate, Joyanne Postajian of Martha’s Candy and Krista Lukaesko of Envy Me Fashions who all helped orchestrate this evening.
