Glendora’s own Royal Stewarts have been ranked as the fourth best Choir in the nation.
This honor and ranking was from The National Show Choir Ranking System.
Choral students from the elementary, middle and Glendora High School recently performed at the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College.
The event “America Sings” is an annual district wide choral festival sponsored by the Glendora Rotary Club. The event was a chance for the Royal Stewarts, as well as the lower choir groups, to perform locally.
Glendora Unified Superintendent Rob Voors couldn’t have been happier for the success of the group and their Director, Dr. Brian Trevor.
“Congratulations to Dr. Brian Trevor and the Glendora High School Royal Stewarts show choir! The National Show Choir Ranking System website, a ranking of the nation’s best show choirs, list Glendora’s own Royal Stewarts as tied for fourth in the nation as of 2/27/2016!”, Voors said in a written statement to the district.
