An early morning fire has forced Spaghetti Eddie’s, 946 S. Grand Ave, to close down until the end of the week.
The fire, which was reported Saturday morning around 4am, did minor damage to the exhaust system. Repairs will need to be completed before the Italian restaurant can reopen.
The fire started in the exhaust system overnight during closed hours. It was quickly put out by the ansul fire suppression system the restaurant has in place but still caused minor damage to the line.
It is still not known exactly what caused the fire according to General Manager Teri Bainbridge. One thing is for certain, they are working to reopen as soon as possible and are so thankful to the support they have received from customers and the community.
“We had such a tremendous outpouring of love and support from the Glendora community, Spaghetti Eddie’s Loves Glendora!”, Bainbridge told GCN.
As of now, they are looking to reopen by Thursday evening or perhaps Friday at the latest.
GCN will be there to support them as they reopen and we ask the community to join us. Spaghetti Eddie’s is one of the main sponsors for the Glendora Police Department and Glendora Unified School District each time they are in need of a fundraiser. We thank them for always stepping up.
