Aaron Castrejon


Aaron Castrejon got his start in professional journalism at Patch.com for Glendora’s hyperlocal website.

During his time at Patch from 2011 to 2014, Aaron started as a beat reporter covering crime and education. He worked his way up to eventually become a substitute editor for Patch websites in Glendora, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Baldwin Park, as well as being a crime stringer for the 40 websites in Patch’s Los Angeles County network of websites.

Aaron researches, interviews, writes, edits and publishes many of the stories, photos and videos on Glendora City News. His passions in journalism are crime reporting, videography and newspaper layout.

Aaron received his Bachelor of Science in Communication at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2011. Before that, Aaron spent time in the journalism program at Citrus College in Glendora.
