The three women were arrested near the Albertson’s supermarket, 220 E. Bonita Ave., in San Dimas Jan. 29 and are reportedly linked to a burglary at Albertson’s in Glendora and in other cities, Strong said.
While not many details were immediately available, the three-person burglary ring allegedly committed crimes at area Albertson’s stores, having stolen thousand of dollars worth of cosmetics, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.
The three women from Los Angeles, 27-year-old Tatiana Thomas, 37-year-old Amaya Martin and 27-year-old Latisha Stevens, were all booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Thomas was additionally booked on an outstanding warrant.
Stevens is being held in lieu of $500,000. Thomas is being held in lieu of $575,000 bail while Martin is being held without bail.
The trio’s first court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 2 at the West Covina Courthouse.
