Glendora Burglary Suspect At Large

UPDATE, 1:42 p.m.: Students who were previously held on lockdown at Charter Oak High School were released from campus around 1 p.m., according to an official from the Charter Oak Unified School District.

Students were released on the south side of campus while the police containment remained active.

PREVIOUS: Glendora PD and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are searching for one outstanding burglary suspect just north of Charter Oak High School at the end of a short pursuit.

According to Cpl. Shawna Celello of Glendora Police, there is one burglary suspect at large after a pursuit that originated in Glendora.

At approximate 10:01 am officers were called out to suspicious circumstances in the 600 block of West Kirkwall Rd.

Once they arrived officers immediately arrested one burglary suspect and the other two fled by vehicle. Police pursued them to the area north of Charter Oak High School near Mangrove St and Cienega Avenue.

Another suspect was arrested at the end of the pursuit but one suspect escaped pursuing officers. Police, along with deputies and a Sheriff’s helicopter are looking for him. If you are in the area, please stay inside and report any suspicious activity.
