The Glendora Chamber of Commerce invites the public to the Women’s Wellness Expo Scheduled For October 24.
The event will feature a wellness presentation, health screenings, demonstrations, prizes, giveaways and information vendors. Organizers suggest a $10 donation, with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society, the employment program Women at Work and the YWCA-WINGS, which aids victims of domestic violence.
The Women’s Wellness Expo will be held in the Bidwell Forum of the Glendora Public Library, 140 S. Glendora Ave., from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Lolita Lopez, general assignment reporter for KNBC channel 4 will be the event’s keynote speaker.
The Wellness Expo will also feature a series of presenters, including Roxanne Bickham, manager of the East San Gabriel Valley American Cancer Society; Miki Carpenter, executive director of the YWCA San Gabriel Valley and business women from the Glendora Village.
