Firefighters doused a garage fire early Friday morning in San Dimas near the Glendora border.
No one was injured in the intense fire, which virtually destroyed the detached garage it began in. The fire also partially destroyed a vehicle of an unknown make or model that was parked between the house and garage, said Sgt. Miguel Mejia of the San Dimas Sheriff’s Station.
The fire broke out in the 1300 block of Sierra View Drive around 11:20 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Fire Department radio traffic.
The garage reportedly contained a lot of flammable materials which caused the garage to burn faster, Mejia said.
