With Valentine’s Day approaching on Sunday, GCN thought we would provide some info for local ideas.
Do: Spend time with her, even if you can’t get, or afford, an extravagant gift. After all it’s the thought that counts, maybe at least give a card and remind them how much you care. Guys, if you assume that girls should just know, you may be in for a long day in the doghouse. Even a well placed note that she finds at random can mean a lot.
Don’t: Go out with your friends instead or let the day go by without seeing her.
Do: If you can, buy flowers, even smaller arrangements can make statement and add a little warm spot in a lady’s heart. The local grocery stores have bouquets starting under $10 and local flower shops have inexpensive specials as well that can be more personalized and they can deliver more extravagant arrangements, or simple roses if you choose. Here are some local shops we support.
