Downtown Glendora has a new fitness gym and they are kicking-off with a fitness challenge open to all.
Village Fitness Glendora officially opened on September 1 but October 1 will mark the beginning of a 30 day fitness challenge which they are looking to jump start the community’s fitness goals.
There are 50 spots which are filling up fast as of this story with a cost of $199. Although more expensive than a normal gym, Village Fitness is offering small group classes, private trainers and healthy nutritional coaching along with the workouts. There are up to 3 private class workouts per week coupled with at home regiments to follow.
Husband and wife owners Matt and Nichole Klinger believe small group settings are their core belief in people not only working out, but attaining their goals according to their website.
“You’ll be more encouraged and more likely to reach your goals with a team of people supporting you and spurring you on”, their website reads.
As to why they chose Downtown Glendora, it is the opportunity to keep clients in the community.
“We chose downtown Glendora because we love the sense of community and small-town vibe. Our dream is to gather people together to work out and then see them go grab coffee or lunch together afterwards. We wanted to be located in a place where our clients would want to hang out before or after classes”, Matt Klinger said.
Matt and Nicole are both graduates of UC Davis and certified personal trainers. Matt is currently getting his doctorate in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University as well.
