Santa Claus is coming to town this weekend as the City of Glendora and Charter Oak School District both host their Christmas Parades.
Charter Oak School District will have their first ever Holiday Parade on Friday night, December 9, starting at 6:00pm, RAIN OR SHINE.
The parade route will begin heading west on Covina Blvd, north on Mangrove Ave, east on Cienega Ave, south on Bonnie Cove Ave and finally turning west back onto Covina Blvd to end at Charter Oak Park and High School.
At the conclusion of the parade there will be a Holiday Festival that includes food trucks, booths and fireworks.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket to put on the ground of the stadium field for fireworks viewing. NO CHAIRS will be allowed on the stadium field but the bleachers will be available for seating.
The City of Glendora Christmas Parade will be on Saturday morning, December 10, starting at 9:00am.
The parade route will be heading south on Glendora Ave through the Village, west on Foothill Blvd, north on Grand Ave and ending along Bennett Ave in front of La Fetra Elementary School.
The parade typically runs over an hour and has almost 90 entries this year, being led by the award winning GHS Tartan Band.
