The Glendora Police Department visited a group of preschoolers at United Methodist Preschool’s Annual Bike-A-Thon Thursday morning.
The event is aimed at teaching children bicycle safety in a fun environment at a young age. Basic traffic safety is also discussed, including car seats, seatbelt laws and rules of the road.
Glendora Corporal Bill Lee lead the discussion and interacted with the children during the bike-a-thon as the multiple groups took turns trying to follow the stop sign and go sign.
All in all it was another successful event that the students look forward to each year. Afterwards, Corporal Lee took photos with the children as they checked out the police cruiser.
