A propane tank and silver tool were found unattended in a shopping cart on Route 66.

A propane tank as well as an unknown object (a silver tool) was inside of the cart. The Los Angeles Sheriffs Department Bomb Squad responded and determined it was just a propane tank and tool. On a closer look, it appeared to be items possibly intended for recycling.
The property was destroyed.

“Thanks to the unknown passerby who called to report these unusual items, it’s better to be safe than sorry.”, said Glendora PD Corporal Shawn Celello.

“It’s a team effort”! Celello noted.
