With a chill in the air and jubilation filling the Village, Glendora’s Annual Holiday Stroll kicked off the night of Friday, Nov. 21.
The evening began with the ceremonial tree lighting led by Glendora Mayor Judy Nelson and fellow City Council members Doug Tessitor, Gene Murabito, Joe Santoro and Mayor Pro-Tem Karen Davis.
All three Glendora High School choirs performed Friday evening, the Illumination (intermediate girls choir), the Silhouettes (advanced girls choir and the Royal Stewarts, singing many Holiday-themed selections and pop music.
Participants were treated to rides on a horse drawn carriage up and down Glendora Avenue.
Inside Southland Properties, patrons were treated to a selection of homemade chili cooked by employees and voted to select a winner of a cook off contest.

- The Glendora Rotary Club auctioned off numerous items for charity, including a signed and framed photo of Dodgers legend Duke Snider and a signed CD fom Taylor Swift.
