Local food pantry and clothing distribution Shepherd’s Pantry is organizing its 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday June 6.
Individual registration is $160, while a foursome can register for $600. the tournament’s goal is to help feed, clothe, educate and care for thousands of people in the San Gabriel Valley.
The tournament will take place at the Glendora County Club, 2400 Country Club Dr.
Player registration begins at 7 a.m., with breakfast following.
Shotgun starts at 8 a.m. with an awards luncheon following at 1 p.m. Registration fee includes breakfast, tournament, art, unlimited range balls and buffet lunch at the awards luncheon.
Shepherd’s Pantry, which opened in 2004, began as a Glendora-based emergency food delivery service for the city and surrounding communities. In 2006, the Pantry opened its doors at the current location on Arrow Highway.
The Pantry also offers a resource counseling program, clothing distribution, a Children’s Reading Comprehension Program, children’s math tutoring and more.
