The bank robbery of a Bank of America that we had reported on March 10 has some more details emerging, including the arrest of the suspect.
Glendora Police along with the FBI worked with leads to identify the suspect who used a demand note to try and rob the Bank of America at 843 E Arrow Hwy in Glendora. It turns out he fled before getting any money from the bank.

Arrested was 43 year-old Samuel Castro Jr. of Covina. Police were able to help identify him with photos from the attempted robbery. He was arrested March 24 after police conducted surveillance on his Covina residence.
During the investigation, evidence linking him to the attempted robbery was found and Castro was taken into custody, said Glendora Lieutenant James DeMond.
Castro is being held on $50,000 bail and being charged with attempted bank robbery. He is due in Citrus Court on Tuesday, March 28 for arraignment.
