Empty Cups Event To Help Local Food Banks

Classic Coffee and First Christian Church of Glendora return with the annual Empty Cups Benefit, slated for Friday, Nov. 14.

The event aims to “fight hunger one cup at a time” by offering residents the chance to purchase a ceramic mug or cup filled with a hot beverage for $15, which will help local food banks provide food vouchers to needy families with help from the Glendora Police Department.

The ceramic mugs and cups are hand crafted by local artists and will be filled with hot coffee, hot chocolate, or apple cider.

The event will be held at Classic Coffee, 148 North Glendora Avenue from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
