Dear Readers,
On this Thanksgiving, I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of our readers, both on social media and on our website. It is with your support that I happily run Glendora City News in addition to my other career obligations.
Aaron Castrejon and I started Glendora City News, independently from the city, in hopes of bridging the gap between when breaking news happens and the residents of this small community hearing it.
For almost a year now we have rushed in while the mud flowed out, broke news while others went to bed, listened endlessly to police scanners and built relationships with city officials in hopes of strengthening the public’s awareness in good times as well as bad.
Glendora means a great deal to me and I still feel like it is far and above one of the greatest towns from sea to sea. We as a community may not always agree on each issue, however, we are all good people despite our views. This is why I have chosen, and will continue to choose, our fine city to help raise my family in. We may be a small city but together we are strong. Happy Thanksgiving.
