VIDEO: Rain Water, Silt Fill Glendora Streets

We at GCN drove around the hilly streets of Glendora Tuesday afternoon to see where some of the stronger flooding was occurring. Rainbow Drive, Yucca Ridge Road and Hicrest are seeing more moderate flooding than other streets.

Some easygoing deer were busy feeding on someone’s lawn on the corner of Easley Canyon Road and Oak Grove Drive.

City Manager Chris Jeffers said that the city spends about $25,000 responding to each rain and flooding incident.

Police officers continue to patrol vulnerable neighborhoods to monitor flooding and debris flows.

A Flood Advisory for the area will remain in effect until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, while a Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Dec. 3.
