An early-morning solo crash is still leaving around 129 customers without power near Oakdale Mortuary.
The crash at Barranca Avenue and Newburgh Street in a county area near Glendora caused a power pole to break and partially hang in the street, severing power at 3:24 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log.
The CHP logs show there were possibly injuries in the crash, but do not indicate if anyone was taken to a nearby hospital.
The vehicle landed on its roof. All occupants self-extricated, the CHP said.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in San Dimas aided in shutting down traffic lanes on Barranca Avenue from Arrow Highway to Gladstone. Traffic signals had been blacked out for a time.
