The Glendora Education Foundation announced via Facebook that the week of March 7 to March 14 will be dubbed Glendora Schools Week to kick off a giant fundraiser.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit each school directly through that school’s Parent Teacher Association, while also supporting participating Glendora businesses. Residents can shop at those businesses, which will donate 30 percent of your purchase to Glendora School’s Week.
Participating businesses include Nutrishop, Village Eatery, Kicks on 66, Cold Stone, Colley Ford, Spots Clips, Barnes & Noble and more.
The schools with the most RSVPs prior to the fundraiser’s start will also win additional funds.
Glendora Schools Week is the Education Foundation’s first annual community-wide fundraising event.
