No Injuries Reported After Solo Crash on Route 66

A driver was uninjured after reportedly being cut off by another driver, jumped the curb and knocked over an electrical box on Route 66 Tuesday afternoon.

The driver was westbound on Route 66 around 1:22 p.m. and was cut off by a second vehicle outside of Legends Classic Diner, 1155 E. Route 66. The driver overcompensated  and drove up over the curb, knocking over the electrical and narrowly missed water pipes, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.


The driver also missed striking a fire hydrant.

Los Angeles County Fire fighters were on scene but no aid was needed.
