A 60-year-old Covina resident has been identified as the victim of a fatal train collision.

Michael Martin Olson was struck and killed Tuesday, February 2, by a westbound train at Sunflower Avenue in Charter Oak, a county area near Covina.
Whether Olson’s death was the result of an accident or suicide is under review, said Ed Winter, assistant chief with the Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
An autopsy has not yet been scheduled.
