The Summer-esque temperatures baking the Southland will take a break when gray clouds and a chance for rain will move in Thursday.
Wednesday will reach to about 88 degrees before taking a dip of nearly 20 degrees Thursday, which is expected to bring a 30 percent chance of showers mostly after 11 a.m. Thursday is also expected to be partly sunny, according to the National Weather Service
The chance for showers will increase to 40 percent by Thursday night and into Friday, with daytime temperatures in the mid-60s.
The chance for rain will linger through Sunday night.
Monday will bring mostly sunny skies and a daytime high of 69 degrees.
