Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road will be closed over the weekend to motor vehicles.
The closure was announced by the Los Angeles County Sheriff in a press release by the San Dimas station.
The closure is due to elevated fire risks and will reopen on Monday, September 26.
Bicyclists and pedestrians will be allowed to continue use of the area however.
