The Glendora Community Coordinating Council’s (GCCC) Holiday Basket Committee is now planning their 2018 program and is seeking contributions from the community for this year’s event. The GCCC collects and distributes food donated by the community and schools, and buys gift cards and additional food with all monetary contributions received.
In 2017 the community’s generous contributions made it possible to provide 235 Glendora families with food and gift cards for the holidays. (Picture is of students assisting in the boxing of food collected)
The GCCC are asking for continued generosity by making a financial contribution to the 2018 Holiday Basket program. They will be distributing food and gift cards in November prior to Thanksgiving. Please keep this in mind as you consider your donation. If you wish to volunteer your time or know of individuals in Glendora who would benefit by receiving a basket, please contact us through the GCCC website: glendoracoordinatingcouncil.org or forward the application link below.
