The Charter Oak Education Foundation welcomes Foothill Credit Union as their first Gold Partner in their Annual Oak Tree Challenge 5K/1Mile Run/Walk. Thank you Foothill Credit Union for coming on board as a sponsoring partner. The Oak Tree Challenge will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Charter Oak High School. Each early registration runner will receive a free run t-shirt. Early registration ends at midnight 9-15-21. Medals are given to all youth 1 Mile runners and medals will be awarded to all 5K runners who come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in each age category, by gender, and we will have an overall 1st place medal. Check-in begins at 7:00 AM on Run day with the 5K start time at 8:00 AM and the 1 Mile Run start time at 9:15 AM. We will have vendor booths, raffles, and a DJ.
We will also be holding a Community Food Drive. You can help out our local families by donating a non-perishable food item. So come on down, donate non-perishable food items, run with us, walk with us, and just have a great time visiting with friends old and new.
