The night concluded with an address by the outgoing Chair, Gary Clifford of Athens Services, and the incoming Chair Arif Taj of SportClips Glendora. Mr. Clifford thanked his board and all the members for a great year and detailed several activities and accomplishments that occurred over the last year. After the gavel was passed to Mr. Taj he started out by presenting the Immediate Past Chair a plaque and thanked him for his service to the Chamber this past year then went on to detail a few plans for the coming year including a theme of “Convenience”. Today’s society expects convenience when taking care of personal business so we as a Chamber will have that for our local businesses too. By making being a Chamber Partner more convenient and continuing to adjust with the way businesses are running, the Chamber can continue to grow.
