A masked man armed with a revolver robbed two Glendora businesses Thursday night; one right after the other, police said.
The suspect first robbed Sushi UMI, 423 E. Arrow Hwy, just before 7:30 p.m. He brandished the black gun and demanded cash from the employee. Once the register was open, the suspect allegedly jumped the counter, took roughly $400 and left the location, said Lt. Matt Egan of Glendora Police.
The male suspect then walked over to Subway, 419 E. Arrow Hwy, and did the very same thing, this time escaping with less than $100 from the register.
The suspect fled northwest, behind the building and reportedly jumped the wall towards Woodcroft Avenue, Egan said.
Police searched with the aid of a helicopter, but the suspect was not located.
The armed robber is described as a white male, possibly in his mid-20s. He wore a black hoodie, a black mask covering his face and he wore blue jeans.
