The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning the hillsides above Glendora, effective until 12:15 a.m. Feb. 23.
Brief heavy rainfall battered Glendora earlier in the day, with the foothill receiving about 1 inch of rain. More steady rains have been blanketing Glendora after night fell.
The heaviest rainfall was expected for the night, city officials said.
The Glendora Police Department recommends residents to shelter in place if flowing water and to avoid travel.
Glendora remains at a yellow alert status.
