According to multiple weather reports, there’s a 90% chance that we will be getting rain later this afternoon as well as possible thunderstorms starting around 3:45 PM, just in time for the evening commute
The National Weather Service reports that the cold front is moving in a southeasterly direction approaching us. The current rate of rainfall is less than .01 inches per hour. There are no flash flood warnings issued for our area.
The rain is much needed but we just want to remind residents to drive safely, as the roads may be slick.
