A memorial is scheduled for the Glendora High School student who was allegedly killed by her brother at their Claremont home.
The memorial will take place Thursday, November 19 at the Claremont United Church of Christ, 233 W. Harrison Ave., at 4 p.m., according to Todd Memorial Chapel.
Aspen Geurts, 15, was fatally stabbed multiple times at the Claremont home they shared with their parents and other sister November 4. Aspen’s 14-year-old brother, Nathaniel Geurts, is accused of committing the murder, for which a motive has either not been established or released.
Nathaniel is also A Glendora High School student.
An acquaintance of the Geurts family has set up a donation effort through Gofundme.com to help pay for some of the family’s expenses.
