Glendora, CA, 28th of October, 2014-The Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Denise Garcia owner of the Glendora Family Haircut Store in the Von’s Shopping Center on Foothill and Grand.
In attendance were the owner Denise Garcia and her husband Turf along with many of their staff and stylists. From the City of Glendora was Glendora Mayor Judy Nelson, Mayor Pro-Tem Karen Davis, and Planning Commissioner Dr. Cliff Hamlow. The Chamber was represented by President Mercedes Castro, Past-President Mary-Ann Quay, Secretary Fawn Imboden, Vice Presidents Arif Taj and D.J. Jafari, Board Members Rona Lunde and Zak Bushey and Ambassadors Doug Frymer, Alexis Macintosh, Ken Salzman and Donna Black. Also in attendance was the Chamber’s Executive Director Joe Cina and Membership & Event Coordinator Michele Street.
Denise Garcia has over 31 years’ experience and has worked at the Glendora Family Haircut Store for 25 years and has owned the salon for the last four years. Denise likes doing color, dimensional color and dramatic makeovers (cuts and color). She’s built a rapport with her clients over the years so they trust her with their hair and new styles. Denise’s clients are loyal and open to creativity.
